2021 Virtual Alumni Weekend was fun, informative!

SAVE THE DATE for 2022: May 13 & 14!

For those of you who missed it, our virtual Alumni Weekend featured a unique then and now “tour” of ULS, reunion photo albums, a special welcome message from Head of School Bart Bronk and more.

Many attendees also took a virtual Detroit Riverfront Tour. This was a fantastic and worthwhile tour and we learned a lot of great information about all the exciting things happening at the Detroit Riverfront, which was recently voted the No. 1 Riverwalk in the United States. The Detroit Experience Factory, which offers a variety of wonderful virtual and in-person tours, hosted the tour for us.

The weekend also featured a virtual lunch with author, entrepreneur and CarLotz co-founder Aaron Montgomery ’96. Montgomery gave a terrific, moving and personal account of his journey to ULS, at ULS and beyond.

And the capstone event was a virtual School Spirit Happy Hour on Zoom! This was a lively, fun event with more than 80 alumni in attendance. A few classes chatted the evening away in their class-specific Zoom rooms!

Willow tree tent

From tent purchases and PPE to plexiglass and sanitization products, operating University Liggett School safely during this pandemic has required tremendous resources. If you want to support your alma mater, now more than ever would be a great time to do it: in honor of your reunion and also to help us to continue to provide the very best in-person education in the Detroit Metro area during this very difficult, costly year. Thank you in advance for your support!

Enjoy a "Tipsy Knight!"
